If you want to accept the YVH "Bareback Challenge II," be ready to ride at the YVH Clubhouse at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12. There will be two bareback divisions. Moderate division will depart first, followed by those in the slow division. $30 fee includes your timed ride entry fee and a special "YVH Bareback Challenge" tee shirt to wear. True nekkid horse hides are preferred, but bareback pads (no stirrups) are permitted for use by the sweat-phobic.
